My deal?  Well I've always been connected to history as math seemed too difficult. I'm 38 years old and have never before thought about writing.  In 2004 I decided to go back to school and finally attain a degree.  The accumulation of sporadic years in college should have made me something akin to a doctor by now.  However, I am a proud holder of a B.A. in History. 

History is my passion as i grow into more sophisticated hobbies.  I believe what we say and do matters.  People whom desire opinions do well to be informed.   For too long I've been sitting on the side lines, only talking history and politics in bars; where incidentally, volume usually matters more than substance.  

I have no real agenda or goal concerning my writing, other than expressing myself.  So far it has been more than enjoyable.  Learning as I go, and finding my voice is the most empowering action I've taken in many years. I guess, for me, the quest for reason is the imperative. Call it an existential crossroad if you will.
